Our fourth preconference was also conducted entirely online and gathered more than 220 attendees. In this case, we expanded our focus, bringing into question issues regarding Latinidades in the global context. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the second edition of our preconference had to be moved entirely online. Highlights: inaugural preconference

The story of our preconferences began at ICA 2019, organized by Dr. Pablo J. Boczkowski and Dr. Eugenia Mitchelstein. Under the auspice of Dr. Silvio Waisbord, who served as our inaugural keynote speaker, more than 30 scholars from around the world met to discuss issues about Digital Journalism in Latin America.
